Hot on the heels of a wider spillover of Wuhan novel coronavirus to other districts, the local government announced a shutdown of all departure access from 10:00 today. A number of companies also restricted their staff's access to the city.

CHINA LIFE (02628.HK)  -0.280 (-1.431%)    Short selling $19.85M; Ratio 3.896%   has shelved all business trips to Wuhan, whereas workers been to the city or nearby regions shall go back to office after at least seven days of home office, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg.

Meanwhile, TENCENT (00700.HK)  -9.000 (-2.195%)    Short selling $530.16M; Ratio 7.537%   and CITIC SEC (06030.HK)  -0.200 (-1.104%)    Short selling $45.98M; Ratio 7.986%   forbid travels to Wuhan; Goldman Sachs advised its workers against unnecessary business trips to the city, said the report.
