Markets are anticipating a de-escalation of tensions in Iran, with Israeli media reporting that US President Trump plans a one-month ceasefire to negotiate a 15-point agreement with Iran. Overnight (24th), US stock futures were soft, but rebounded this morning Hong Kong time. DJIA futures last jumped up 394 points, or 0.85%, at 46,809. S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures last added approximately 0.8% and 0.9% respectively.

Hong Kong bourse sustained their uptrend from the previous day. The HSI opened 216 points higher this morning (25th). With extended gains in the early session, it last stood at 25,387, up 323 points, or 1.3%, with a turnover of HK$63.85 billion.
