Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME.US)(01698.HK)'s net profit margin guidance missed expectations, denting its ADR/ H-shares by nearly 25%/ 22.7%. Daiwa noted that Tencent Music Entertainment Group’s management adopted a cautious stance when discussing the impact of AI music from ByteDance’s Soda Music. Its peer NETEASE MUSIC (09899.HK) plummeted 10%. For other techs, BABA-W (09988.HK) and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) slipped 0.8%, while JD-SW (09618.HK) and MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) cascaded 0.1%.
