The discussions were guided by the important consensus reached by the leaders of China and the US, focusing on issues of mutual concern such as tariff arrangements, promoting bilateral trade and investment, and maintaining existing consultation consensus. The talks were candid, in-depth, and constructive, resulting in some new consensus, and both sides agreed to continue consultations.
