The London Metal Exchange (LME) said on Monday that its electronic trading platform, LME Select, experienced a technical glitch, causing a temporary suspension of operations and halting trading. The issue is currently being addressed.

The Workspace platform, which updates the LME's metal contract prices, stopped updating prices for metals including copper, aluminum, lead, zinc, nickel and tin.
