The largest refinery in the UAE located in Ruwais has temporarily suspended operations after a drone attack caused a fire in the industrial area where it is situated, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying. The Ruwais refinery is the only refinery in Abu Dhabi, with most of its gasoline, diesel and aviation kerosene production being exported, while some are used domestically. It is reported that the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is assessing the damage to the refinery, which has a daily processing capacity of 922,000 barrels of crude oil.
