Hong Kong bourse escalated in the morning session. HSI opened 331 points higher, with early gains once narrowing to 203 points at 25,611. It ended midday up 396 points or 1.6% at 25,804. HSCEI added 91 points or 1.1% to 8,673. HSTECH hiked 69 points or 1.4% to 5,010. The total midday market turnover was HKD172.007 billion. The OpenClaw craze continued to be speculated, with AI stocks MINIMAX-WP (00100.HK) and KNOWLEDGE ATLAS (02513.HK) soaring by 9.5% and 6.9%. TENCENT (00700.HK) saw a surge in traffic for its CodeBuddy platform, pushing its stock price up by 5.7% to HKD545.5. WEIMOB INC (02013.HK) and INSILICO (03696.HK) both swelled by 5.7%. Among other techs, BABA-W (09988.HK) and BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) mounted 3% and 3.3%, while KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK), NTES-S (09999.HK), JD-SW (09618.HK), and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) lifted 1.5- 2.3%. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) dipped 0.6%. Chip stocks BIREN TECH (06082.HK) and ILUVATAR COREX (09903.HK) proliferated 5.5% and 19.9%. SMIC (00981.HK) and HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK) jumped up 2.8% and 2.1%. Mobile component stocks COWELL (01415.HK) and LENS (06613.HK) shot up 5.2% and 5.3%. Pharmaceuticals were prevalent, with 3 3SBIO (01530.HK) and SKB BIO-B (06990.HK) up by 7% and 8.9%, and AKESO (09926.HK) up by 11.2%. REMEGEN (09995.HK), JUNSHI BIO (01877.HK), and INNOVENT BIO (01801.HK) mushroomed 4.9-6.2%. Automakers BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) and XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) slid 2.1% and 1%. Battery stock CATL (03750.HK) saw a 42% hike in last year's net profit, exceeding market expectations, with its stock price growing by 8.7%. Autonomous driving stock PONY-W (02026.HK) ballooned 4.8%, while robotics concept stocks SANHUA (02050.HK) and ROBOSENSE (02498.HK) skyrocketed 4.3% and 3.4%.
