Steven Witkoff, the U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East Issues, and President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, planned to visit Israel on Tuesday (10th) to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to US online media Axios.

The scale of Israel's local attacks on multiple Iranian oil storage facilities last Saturday (7th) night far exceeded US expectations, the report cited US and Israeli officials and sources as revealing. This led to the first major disagreement between the US and Israel since their joint airstrike on Iran on February 28.
