Yesterday (3rd), a BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) electric vehicle (EV) caught fire on Tuen Mun Road and was severely burned. BYD COMPANY stated that the fire wasn't caused by any malfunction of the vehicle's components or battery, and the core blade battery components remained completely intact.
