The Hong Kong Transport Department announced yesterday (23rd) that the cross-district test route connecting North Lantau Airport Island with Tung Chung town center and Sunny Bay has been officially opened. Apollo Go, an autonomous ride-hailing service platform under BIDU-SW (09888.HK) (BIDU.US), said it, as the first approved company, will be the first to operate across districts on this route, marking its fifth expansion since obtaining Hong Kong's first autonomous vehicle pilot license in November 2024.
