HKTB: Prelim Jan Visitor Arrivals to HK Record 4.81M, Up ~1.5% YoY

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) announced that despite the high base effect from last January due to the Chinese New Year holiday in Mainland China, preliminary visitor arrivals to Hong Kong this January still recorded 4.81 million, representing a YoY growth of 1.48%. Visitor arrivals from non-Chinese Mainland recorded 1.17 million, a 14.7% YoY increase, with long-haul markets showing more pronounced growth.
