Ford Motor Reportedly Discusses US-CN Auto JVs with White House

Ford Motor (F.US)'s CEO, Jim Farley, once discussed with senior US government officials last month about allowing Chinese automakers to produce cars in the US through joint ventures with American automakers, with the American companies holding a controlling interest in these joint ventures, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying. The joint ventures would share profits and technology between the US and China.
