Thailand's Minor International (MINT), one of Asia's largest hotel groups, is weighing a ring-fence of its restaurant business for a listing in Hong Kong, Bloomberg reported, citing sources. Minor Food, the parent company of the Burger King and Dairy Queen brands, is considering a Hong Kong listing as early as this year to raise over USD400 million, sources divulged. The company had mulled listing in Thailand, with discussions regarding the listing, including its size and timeline, still undecided, according to local media report last year. Minor Food operates approximately 80 brands with nearly 2,700 outlets across more than 20 countries and regions. AASTOCKS Financial News Website: www.aastocks.com |
