SMIC: Memory & BCD in Short Supply w/ Hiking Prices

SMIC (00981.HK) said in its investor relations activity record that the Company's memory and BCD are in short supply and prices are hiking, according to Chinese media. The Company will prioritize supporting iterative products in research and development, engineering and capacity to consolidate product prices and enhance control over ASP. Regarding the demand for mid-to-low-end mobile phones, SMIC's executives explained that the total terminal demand has not decreased.
