South Korean memory chip manufacturer SK Hynix has secured over two-thirds of NVIDIA's (NVDA.US) supply orders for the sixth-generation HBM4 this year, capturing nearly 70% market share, Yonhap News Agency reported, citing sources. NVIDIA will use these for its next-generation AI platform "Vera Rubin".

SK Hynix would hold a 54% global market share for HBM4 this year, with Samsung Electronics and Micron holding 28% and 18%, respectively, the report cited market research firm CounterPoint Research's earlier estimates. As demand expands, SK Hynix's share in NVIDIA's supply chain still has upside.
