Guangdong Province promulgated several policies for the high-quality development of artificial intelligence-enabled transportation. The aim is to create high-quality datasets, toolchains, and algorithm libraries to facilitate the application of large autonomous driving models. Meanwhile, the policies encourage eligible cities to explore the construction of autonomous driving regulatory platforms and support eligible free trade zones and administrative regions to take the lead in promoting pilot demonstrations and mutual recognition of intelligent connected vehicles. Cities are also supported to gradually open multi-scenario road testing applications for autonomous driving and expand high-level autonomous driving application areas. Furthermore, the measures highlight that Guangdong Province has achieved phased success in the field of unmanned delivery. Nansha, Guangzhou has pioneered in fully opening autonomous driving test roads, becoming the city's first pilot area for unmanned commercial operations, attracting companies like PONY-W (02026.HK) and WERIDE-W (00800.HK) to implement various scenarios such as unmanned logistics.
