HSBC acted as a joint lead manager to assist the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in issuing three-year HKD4 billion bonds.

HSBC expressed that it was pleased to facilitate AIIB's issuance of HKD bonds once again, further solidifying Hong Kong's position as a global fixed income and currency center. "Wonton Bonds" are gradually emerging in the HKD bond market, attracting various globally renowned issuers to join in issuing HKD-denominated sustainable bonds and other bond categories. This will further enhance liquidity and provide investors with diverse allocation opportunities.
