The Board today (30th) recommended the appointment of Gao Shigang as the executive director, subject to shareholder approval, as announced by CHINA COAL (01898.HK). On the same day, the Board resolved to appoint Gao as the president, with a term commencing from the date of approval of the Board by resolution to the date of constitution of the sixth session of the Board and its appointment of the new session of the senior management of the Company. Gao is currently the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director and General Manager of China National Coal Group Corporation, the Company added.
