LEAPMOTOR (09863.HK) announced the issuance of 74.8322 million domestic shares to FAW Equity, equivalent to approximately 5.26% and 5% of the total issued Shares of the Company and the enlarged issued Shares of the Company as enlarged by the Domestic Share Subscription, respectively. The price per share is RMB50.03 (approximately HKD55.29), representing a 10.7% premium over last Wednesday's (24th) closing price of HKD49.94. The aggregate gross proceeds from the Domestic Share Subscription will be RMB3.744 billion (approximately HKD4.138 billion), among which, approximately 50% will be used for research and development investment; approximately 25% will be used for replenishment of working capital and general corporate purposes; and approximately 25% will be used to expand the sales and service network and enhance brand awareness.
