The global humanoid robot market is still in the early exploration stage, and is expected to enter a golden development period in the next 5-10 years, consulting firm Bain & Company released a report saying. The institution forecasted that, by 2035, annual global sales of humanoid robots could reach 6 million units, with the market size surpassing US$120 billion. In an optimistic scenario, sales could exceed 10 million units, with a market scale of US$260 billion. Referring to the 50-60% reduction in BOM costs for NEVs over the past decade, Bain & Company predicted that, by 2035, the BOM cost for humanoid robots will decrease from the current US$40,000-50,000 to US$10,000-20,000, representing a decline of 60-70%.
