JD LOGISTICS, CATL Conduct Test Flight for Ton-Class Low-Altitude Logistics Route

Jointly developed by companies including JD LOGISTICS (02618.HK), AutoFlight, and CATL (03750.HK), a 2-ton eVTOL low-altitude logistics route across the mountainous regions of Guizhou Plateau completed the first test flight on November 20. With parcels of agricultural products, the eVTOL took off from a low-altitude flight service base in Guiyang and landed at an airport in Huangping County in only 40 minutes. JD couriers then delivered the parcels to local consumers. Compared with traditional mountain road transport, the new route improves delivery efficiency by more than 80%, overcoming the time constraints of logistics in mountainous areas.
