US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick disclosed that President Donald Trump is evaluating whether to allow Nvidia (NVDA.US) to sell advanced AI chips to China, according to foreign media reports.

It is understood that Trump is listening to different advisors for his final decision. If the US allows the sale of H200 chips to China, it would signify a substantial relaxation of the export restrictions first implemented in 2022.
