Syngenta, a major agrochemical company under China Zhonghua and headquartered in Switzerland, is in preliminary discussions with financial advisors to consider an IPO in Hong Kong next year, Bloomberg reported, citing people with the knowledge of the matter. However, these discussions are underway and may not result in an IPO. The company may purportedly dispose of some non-core and loss-making assets ahead of the IPO.
