TENCENT (00700.HK) has recently launched two mini programs for short comic-dramas, marking its official foray into the short comic-drama market, Chinese media reported, citing sources. Both mini programs, however, appear to still be in the testing phase, given that the amount of content is limited and the features are not yet fully developed. According to analysts, many major players have been rushing this year to establish a foothold in the short comic-drama market.
