CHINAHONGQIAO (01378.HK) announced that its controlling shareholder, Hongqiao Holdings, purchased a total of 7.5 million CHINAHONGQIAO shares (around 0.08% of the total issued shares) in the open market today (18th) at an average price of around HKD30.5353 per share, involving around HKD229 million.

Following the increase in its shareholding, Hongqiao Holdings holds nearly 6.098 billion CHINAHONGQIAO shares, representing around 64.02% of the total issued shares.
