The 2025 Forbes China's 100 Richest list was released, with Zhong Shanshan, founder of NONGFU SPRING (09633.HK), retaining his title as China's richest person for the 5th consecutive year. Zhong's wealth increased by US$26.3 billion YoY to US$77.1 billion, mainly driven by double-digit growth in both net profit and revenue of NONGFU SPRING in 1H25. TENCENT (00700.HK)'s founder, Pony Ma, ranked third with US$62.8 billion. The fourth to tenth positions are occupied by Robin Zeng, Founder of CATL (03750.HK), with US$53.5 billion; Ding Lei, Founder of NTES-S (09999.HK), with US$47.5 billion; Colin Huang, Founder of PDD Holdings (PDD.US), with US$45.3 billion; Lei Jun, Founder of XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), with US$36.8 billion; Jack Ma, Founder of BABA-W (09988.HK), with US$31 billion; the family of He Xiangjian, major shareholder of MIDEA GROUP (00300.HK), with US$29.8 billion; and the family of Zheng Shuliang from Weiqiao Pioneering Group, the parent company of CHINAHONGQIAO (01378.HK), with US$25.4 billion.
