In the first five days of the holiday, mainland visitors made up of about 86% of the total, roughly the same as the same period last year, indicating an average daily number of mainland visitors of about 136,000, up about 1% YoY.

UBS projected that demand in the latter part of this year's Golden Week will be stronger than last year, mainly underpinned by premium demand, a low base, and mega events.
