Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL.US) plans to invest US$10 billion in building a one-gigawatt data center facility in Visakhapatnam, India, according to the Economic Times of India. This marks the company's first major investment of this scale in India.

The new data center facility is predicted to include three campuses located in Adavivaram and Tarluvada villages of Visakhapatnam, as well as Rambilli village in the nearby Anakapalli district.
