On the grounds of the lack of transparency in the matchmaking mechanism of the game "Honor of Kings", a player from Shandong has filed a lawsuit against TENCENT (00700.HK)'s subsidiaries Shenzhen Tencent Computer System (literal translation of "深圳騰訊計算機系統") and Tencent Technology (Chengdu) (literal translation of "騰訊科技(成都)") under China's consumer rights protection law, Chinese media reported.

The case is scheduled for a hearing on August 12 at the Shenzhen Nanshan District Court. It is expected to become China's first lawsuit concerning game algorithms.
