The groundbreaking ceremony for Cambodia’s first new energy vehicle (NEV) production base, the "BYD Cambodia Passenger Vehicle Factory", was held in Sihanoukville. Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD COMPANY’s (01211.HK) (002594.SZ) Asia-Pacific Automotive Sales Division, stated that the factory will focus on NEV production with an annual capacity of 10,000 vehicles and is slated to commence operations in 4Q25.
