When asked about news released by the U.S. suggesting ongoing negotiations or an impending agreement between China and the U.S., Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun labeled the claims as false during a regular press briefing today (24th).

According to Guo, neither consultations nor negotiations on tariff issues are taking place between China and the U.S., let alone any agreement.
