HORIZONROBOT-W Narrows Losses After 18% Plunge as Some Shareholders' Lockup Period Expires

The lock-up period of HORIZONROBOT-W (09660.HK), which was listed for just half a year and included as a constituent of the HSTECH on 10 March 2025, ended today (24th).

The stock opened 14.9% lower this morning before tumbling by 17.9% in the early session, and narrowed its decline after bottoming at $4.8. It last printed at $5.42, down 7.35%, with trading volume surging to 503 million shares (compared to yesterday's full-day volume of 126 million shares), involving $2.614 billion.

Chinese media reported earlier that 5Y Capital and Hillhouse will not rush to reduce their holdings after the unlocking of HORIZONROBOT-W's shares, and will support it for a long period of time.

Another 76.3% of the shares, including those of the actual controller, are subject to a one-year lock-up period, which means that this round of unlocking does not involve any major portion of the company, including the founding team.
