China has warned South Korean companies not to export products containing Chinese rare earths to the US military and defense companies, South Korean media reported, citing sources. China’s Ministry of Commerce has sent letters to South Korean companies in industries such as power equipment, batteries, displays, electric vehicles, aerospace, and medical devices, requiring them not to export products containing Chinese rare earths to US defense enterprises, according to the report.
