CN, EU Reportedly Plan to Set Min. Prices for CN-made EVs to Replace Tariffs

EU Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maros Sefcovic held talks with Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao, and both sides agreed to explore setting minimum prices for Chinese-made electric vehicles (EVs) as an alternative to imposing tariffs, according to Reuters, citing a European Commission spokesperson.

German newspaper Handelsblatt reported that these negotiations have already unfolded.
