Suppliers of U.S. tech giants such as Nvidia (NVDA.US), Apple (AAPL.US) and Google conceded that the current level of uncertainty surpasses that of the COVID-19 pandemic period, as they are being forced to overhaul production and shipping plans within days or even shorter timeframes, Nikkei reported.

HP (HP.US), Dell (DELL.US) and Meta (META.US) specifically requested suppliers to prepare more components during the 90-day U.S. tariff grace period and to assemble more products in Vietnam and Thailand to brace for potential further repercussions after July, sources divulged.
