After the White House said Apple (AAPL.US) could manufacture iPhones in the US, BofA Securities released a research report saying that it's technically feasible, but the cost of an iPhone could soar by 90%.

Just switching to US labor will increase the cost of iPhone by 25%, according to the report. If Apple also had to pay tariffs on importing parts, the total cost of an iPhone could rally by more than 90%. Therefore, the broker kept rating at Buy on Apple, with a target price of US$250.
