CE in C Gives Consent to Increase Tramway Fares; Adult Fares To Hike to HKD3.3

The Chief Executive in Council (CE in C) gave consent to Hong Kong Tramways Limited (HKT) to alter its fares. The revised rates of fares will come into force one month after publication in the Gazette (i.e. May 12, 2025). Adult fares for those aged 12 and above will increase by HKD0.3 to HKD3.3; fares for children aged 3 to 11 will rise by HKD0.1 to HKD1.6; and senior fares for those aged 65 and above will hike by HKD0.2 to HKD1.5.
