CHINA SHENHUA to Raise 2025-2027 Min. Div. Payout Ratio to 65%, Considers Increasing Frequency of Div. Declaration

CHINA SHENHUA (01088.HK) responded to the bigger fluctuation on 7 April (yesterday) as its A-share price slumped 4.16% and H-share price descended 8.28%. Its production and operation in 1Q25 remained generally normal, according to the Company. For the full year, the Company planned to produce 334.8 million tons of commercial coal, sell 465.9 million tons of coal and generate 227.1 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, all of which are higher than the actual levels in 2024. The Company insisted on actively rewarding its shareholders. In January 2025, the Board of the Company proposed a shareholders return plan for 2025-2027, which would increase the minimum annual cash dividend ratio by 5 ppts to 65%, and considered appropriately increasing the frequency of dividend distribution.
