HKBN (01310.HK) released an update regarding the preliminary acquisition offer by I Squared Asia Advisors. The discussions and negotiations between both parties in respect of the possible separate offer are currently ongoing, and the board has not formed any view about the possible separate offer nor reached any formal or legally binding agreement for the possible separate offer with I Squared Asia Advisors or its portfolio company, HGC Global Communications. I Squared Asia Advisors noted that it had completed its due diligence exercise in relation to the company, and it is finalizing the terms of a possible preconditional offer for the board to consider, which will include a description of the source of financing for such offer.
