SoftBank Reportedly Seeking US$16.5B Loan

In order to fund its AI project in the US, Japan's SoftBank Group is currently seeking a US$16.5 billion loan, which will mark the largest USD-denominated loan in the group's history, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.

It is understood that SoftBank's negotiations with the banks are still in the preliminary stage, and the duration of this transitional loan is about 12 months.
