BIDU-SW's Apollo Go Plans to Deploy 1,000+ Fully Autonomous Vehicles in Dubai

BIDU-SW (09888.HK) (BIDU.US) announced that its autonomous driving mobility service platform, Apollo Go, has inked a strategic cooperation agreement with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

The partnership will see Apollo Go conduct large-scale testing and services of autonomous driving in Dubai’s urban areas. Both parties plan to deploy over 1,000 fully autonomous vehicles in Dubai, marking Apollo Go’s first venture into large-scale autonomous driving testing and services outside mainland China.

To date, Apollo Go has completed city-level deployments of autonomous vehicles in mainland China, achieving 100% full autonomy. The platform has provided ornd accumulated more than 150 million kilometers of safe driving mileage.
