AIR CHINA Craters ~4%, although 2024 Loss Reduces Sharply

AIR CHINA (00753.HK) recorded a net loss of RMB233 million in FY2024, a sharp reduction from the RMB1.038 billion loss in FY2023. Full-year revenue grew over 18% YoY to nearly RMB166.7 billion. The Company proposed not to make profit distribution for the year of 2024. The Group stated that in 2025 it will accelerate the improvement of the quality and efficiency of its core business and continue to improve its efficiency level. This morning, AIR CHINA opened 0.19% lower, hitting a low of HKD5.08. It last stood at HKD5.1, down 3.95%, with a trading volume of 7.214 million shares and a turnover of HKD37.1715 million.
