XPENG-W VP: No Shr Placing & Issuance in Short Term

Several companies, including BYD COMPANY (01211.HK), XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) and NIO-SW (09866.HK), have recently conducted share placings and issuances on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, leading to market speculation that XPENG-W (09868.HK) (XPEV.US) might follow suit. In response, an XPeng Motors vice president stated via Weibo that while there might be an industry trend of issuing additional shares when a company believes its stock price has reached a peak, XPeng Motors does not currently consider its stock price to be at a high point and therefore has no plans for a share placing or issuance in the short term.
