MTR CORPORATION (00066.HK) issued three tranches of US$3 billion bonds. Of which, the 5-year final pricing is T+40 basis points, with a coupon rate of 4.375% and a size of US$500 million. UBS, the joint global coordinator of the bonds, said that the deal was announced to the market on Monday morning. After the book building was announced on Tuesday morning, the book building had a very strong momentum, with the order book exceeding US$5.5 billion an hour after the book was opened, surpassing US$11 billion at noon in the Asian time, and reaching a peak of more than US$17 billion before the final pricing guidance was released at noon in London time.
