The Macau Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) announced that visitor arrivals in February 2025 totaled 3.1471 million, down 4.4% YoY, primarily due to a high comparison base driven by the 8-day Chinese New Year holiday in mainland China in February last year. Among them, overnight visitors reached 1.2593 million, a decline of 11.7% YoY, while same-day visitors totaled 1.8878 million, up 1.1% YoY. The average length of stay for visitors remained sturdy at 1.1 days YoY. During the month, mainland Chinese visitors sagged 6.4% YoY to 2.2916 million, with Individual Visit Scheme (IVS) travelers recording 1.3311 million, down 11.1% YoY. Visitors entering via the "one trip per week", "multiple-entry permit" and "group-in, group-out" schemes logged approximately 120,000, 30,700, and 9,262 visits, respectively. International visitors totaled 207,700 for the month, up 17.9% YoY. AAStocks Financial News |
