JD-SW (09618.HK)(JD.US) announced that JD Food Delivery has signed formal labor contracts with over 10,000 full-time delivery riders as of March 20 and is progressively implementing the payment of the "five social insurances and one housing fund".

The company accentuated that all costs associated with these benefits for full-time delivery riders, including the portion typically borne by individuals, will be fully covered by JD, ensuring that riders’ take-home cash income remains unaffected. This policy applies to both existing and newly recruited riders.

Since March 1, JD has been rolling out the payment of the "five insurances and one housing fund" for full-time riders nationwide, with more than 500 riders signing contracts each workday to receive these fully company-funded benefits.

The group stated that it will continue to expand the scale of its full-time rider workforce down the road.
