XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) is scaling up its second electric vehicle (EV) factory under construction in Beijing, Bloomberg quoted people with the knowledge of the matter. The success of its first EV model has prompted the company to raise its sales target for this year to 350,000 units. Xiaomi reportedly started building its second factory in Beijing last year on a 53-hectare site, with production slated to commence mid-year.
