DOBOT, one of Guangdong’s “Seven Swordsmen” in the robotics industry, launched Dobot Atom, the world’s first full-sized embodied intelligent humanoid robot featuring dexterous operation and straight-knee walking, with a starting price of RMB199,000. Reportedly, Dobot Atom is an industrial-grade humanoid robot designed for precise operations. Standing at 1.53 meters tall and weighing 62 kilograms, it adopts a 1:1 human-like arm configuration with 41 degrees of freedom across its body. Its Neural-Driven Dexterous System (NDS) enables end-to-end autonomous reasoning operations with up to 28 degrees of freedom in the upper limbs. Equipped with a 600mm arm length and an industrial-grade collaborative arm boasting ±0.05mm precision, Dobot Atom can accurately perform tasks such as soldering electronic components and calibrating precision instruments - operations where even the slightest hand tremor could lead to failure.
