GDS-SW Reportedly Seeks US$3.4B-equivalent Loan

GDS-SW (09698.HK) (GDS.US) is seeking a loan equivalent to US$3.4 billion for its data center operations in Malaysia, which would be the Company's largest loan ever, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying.

It is reported that DayOne, GDS-SW's international business unit, is planning a 5-year loan facility comprising a US$1.7 billion and a MYR7.5 billion (about US$1.7 billion) loan, and that seven lending institutions have been appointed as arrangers and bookrunners, including DBS Group and STANCHART (02888.HK).
