In 2M25, as various macro policies continued to take effect in China, the national economy maintained an overall trend of improvement, with the quality of development steadily advancing, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) stated.

However, the external environment became increasingly complex and challenging, while domestic effective demand remained insufficient. Some enterprises faced production and operational hiccups, and the foundation for a sustained economic recovery has not yet been solid.
